The Braunvieh is a tough breed that survives different extreme conditions from very cold to very hot. We produce cattle that is adoptable to the heart water and gal sickness and that still produce annually after 10 – 15 years. Our Braunvieh are true to the nature of milk and meat producers. We select especially for productivity, enough milk, fast growth, muscling, balanced, hardiness, longevity and smart temperament. We make use of proven bulls in the heard or in our AI program. When a certain bloodline is not doing well we cull all the calves related to such bull. That’s why we can’t afford just to use a bull anymore. Just the best proven bulls will be used in the future in this heard.
